Drop-Off & Pickup Procedures
DROP-OFF BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
Sign-up for item drop-off is available in your Seller’s account under “Check-In.” Log in to your account, select an available drop-off slot between 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, or 5:00PM to 8:00 PM, and bring all your tagged items to your scheduled appointment.
During drop-off, consignors are responsible for:
• Bringing all items inside the building
• Placing items on the designated tables near the entrance
• Signing the Consignor Contract
• Signing the Drop-Off Form and Unsold Items Pick Up agreement form
Our volunteers will handle the rest.
Please allow approximately 30 minutes to unload your vehicle, complete the check-in process, and collect your empty bins or containers.
To help streamline your drop-off, we recommend grouping items by size and gender before arriving.
Please avoid using rubber bands to bundle items — they can tear off tags and result in many unsold, unidentifiable items.
Drop-Off Guidelines
-
Tagging: Ensure all items are tagged according to the Tagging Instructions prior to drop-off.
-
Organize: Group items by gender and size.
-
Specialty Items: Separate specialty items (e.g., holiday dresses, coats, swimwear) from gender/size groups.
-
Toys: Verify that toys have working batteries and switch them to the "off" position to prevent battery drainage.
Drop-Off Location
-
Entrance: Please enter through the main entrance. You may temporarily park near the entrance to unload your vehicle.
-
Assistance: Volunteers will be available with rolling racks and carts to help with heavy or bulky items.
-
Punctuality: Arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you are unable to make your time slot, please email us at consignmentsale@oakgroveumc.org.
Check-In Process
-
Come inside and check in at the consignor check-In table.
-
Sign a hard copy of the Consignor Agreement and initial the list of items you are dropping off.
-
Sign the Pick-Up Agreement form, which states that any items not picked up between 4:00 and 5:00 PM on Saturday will be donated.
-
A volunteer will assist in bringing in your items from the car and checking them for compliance with our Selling Guidelines.
-
You are responsible for placing your items on the table by the main entrance only. Volunteers will handle placing your items in the appropriate section on the sales floor.
UNSOLD ITEMS PICK UP
-
Pick-Up Day: There is only one pick-up day – Saturday, September 20th, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
-
Arrival Time: Please do not arrive before the scheduled pick-up time, as we will not be ready to check you out before then.
-
Bring Bins: Please bring empty bins to collect your unsold items.
-
Check-Out: Stop by the check-out desk near the main entrance and sign the pick-up form. A volunteer will walk you to your grouped items on the sales floor and assist with loading them into your bins, onto carts, and into your car. The volunteer will also help you review the tags to ensure all Seller Numbers on the items match yours.
-
Check the Lost Tags area next to the check-out table to see if any of your items lost their tags during the sale.
IMPORTANT:
-
Donations: All items left after the pick-up time will be donated to charity.
-
Unsold Items Report: An unsold items report will be available after the registers close.
-
Items marked as "donate" will NOT appear on your unsold items report.
