The Oak Grove United Methodist Church (OGUMC) is proud to support the educational goals of our young leaders through the OGUMC Scholarship Fund. This year, we are excited to award eight scholarships of $1,500 each to deserving students who demonstrate commitment to faith, service, and academic growth.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

Our successful applicant must meet at least one of the following criteria:  

• Be an active member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, or

• Be meaningfully involved in community or church activities, with a demonstrated commitment to service and engagement.

 

Application Process:

Interested applicants must complete the OGUMC Scholarship Application Form, available both in person at the church office and online.

Along with the application, please submit:

• A personal statement

• School transcripts and/or school acceptance letter (if available)

 

Application Window:
Applications will be accepted from May 8th through June 8th, 2025.

 

Announcement of Recipients:

The eight selected recipients will be announced on July 20th, 2025.
